What if we admitted that we are more MESSED UP than we know, but more LOVED by God through Jesus Christ than we can imagine!
What if the church radically LOVED and SERVED one another, our neighbors, and stood with those who are marginalized for JUSTICE?
I've been attending New City Church for about 6 months and its changed my life. It's one of the most diverse churches- not just racially but also socioeconomically and in terms of life stage. I love that the church offers multiple support groups for those struggling. The pastors and leadership are passionate about people and about social justice. The other attenders are warm and welcoming- there is truly room for everyone to fit in and find community here.
I have never been to a more diverse church devoted to an intellectual as well as emotional experience of God. Their music is powerfully affecting, and their sermons are impressively scholarly. They are also committed to serving the congregation and community in various groups and community service opportunities. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a church to attend.
This Church changed my life. 2 yrs ago, I was going thru lowest of my life and my good friend took me here. Ever since, my life has been better and better. The Pastor's message is also amazing. When you walk out from this Church, you will smile from your heart.
Finally, a truly welcoming and inclusive church that invites us all to worship together no matter who we are or how we look, etc. With churches likes this, God is still working in our age.
