We looked at the Vision/Core Values of New City: To be an inclusive gospel-centered community of lovers of Jesus Christ who connect people to God, grow together, serve the city, and extend God’s kingdom. The focus of the message was on extending God’s kingdom. One of the ways we do that is by church planting. Kevin shared the vision of extending God’s kingdom by planting a gospel-centered church in every neighborhood in Los Angeles. Kevin interviewed Ruben Nuño who is planting a church in Westlake, the neighborhood between Downtown and Koreatown.
