Kurt was born in Fremont, Michigan, on March 2, 1975. He is married to Amy and they have two kids, Kai and Mya. Kurt and Amy began attending New City in June of 2013 and became members shortly thereafter. They currently lead the Adults, Youth & Families (AYF) Grow and Serve group, and Kurt also serves at New City on the Finance Team and Leadership Team. Kurt moved to Los Angeles in 1997 to pursue a career in film and television. He currently works as a television producer and takes classes on a part-time basis at Fuller Seminary. Kurt has served on the Leadership Team.
