Dr. Michael G. Bischof (M.Div., D.Min.) is Founder and President of SOULeader Resources (www.souleader.org), an interdenominational ministry that began in 2000. After experiencing the pain of ministry and ending up in eight months of clinical depression, Michael sensed a call to come alongside leaders to bring encouragement and resources that would help them finish well.
Michael uses his experience both nationally and internationally through speaking, coaching, consulting, training, and writing in many types of organizations, such as churches, non-profits, denominations, seminaries, mission agencies, and businesses. He addresses a variety of topics on formation from a holistic perspective. His passion is self-awareness and integration of all the dimensions of the person and how this impacts leadership and spiritual growth.
Born and raised in Southern California, Michael has spent over 30 years pastoring and leading in eight churches and three para-church organizations. He has been a Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Interim Pastor, Small Groups Pastor, Youth Pastor, Church Planter, and Executive Director. He is also Affiliate Assistant Professor of Christian Spirituality & Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary since 2007.
He has been married to Darlene for almost 40 years and has two grown children. His hobbies are reading, travel, and snowboarding.
