Galatians 5:22 says that “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” We can’t produce the fruit (which is a transformed life in Christ) by just trying really hard; we have to focus on the tree that bears the fruit, and the tree is living by the Spirit. If you live in the spirit, you will bear the fruit of the spirit. What then is living in the spirit?
