The Journey of Faith
- Hebrews 11:8-19 is about the life of Abraham and his family. God called Abraham to leave his familiar homeland and to journey to a land God would show him. Trusting in God’s character, Abraham set out in faith and obedience.We, like Abraham, are called on a journey of faith. We’re all called to love God and love one another. But God also gives us specific callings. Pastor T. C. shared stories of how God called him to various cities at different times in his life. And he invited us to reflect on the specific ways God may be calling us.The journey of faith God calls us on is initiated and sustained by God’s grace; it expresses itself in obedient action; it is discerned and lived out in community; and Jesus is with us on it.
