The Bible tells us that Jesus is the first fruit of the Resurrection; but that someday, we will also be resurrected. There is a tremendous hope in that. But, the Bible also tells us that when Jesus died, we died, and when he rose, we rose with him into a new life, new hope, new joy. Resurrection is not just about something in the future; it’s not just a great hope we have in the future; it is also about entering into a new life, new joy, a new reality NOW. He is inviting us to the reality of the Kingdom of God NOW! God is inviting us to a party! To a fiesta that starts now and lasts for eternity! The question is: how do we enter the party? The kingdom? What is the right way to approach to God?
