If you asked people now what the most divisive thing in the world is, a lot of people will answer religion. They point to terrorists who are often motivated by religion. They point to intolerant, homophobic, judgmental, and narrow-minded people who are often motivated by their religion.

Religions do have a tendency to become narrow-minded, judgmental, and divisive. It's a real problem. Kevin responded to some of the wrong ways to deal with the problem of divisiveness and intolerance that religion brings, and the right way to deal with those problems. The right way is the way of the gospel. Kevin explained how the gospel leads us to be radically inclusive people even while we proclaim an exclusive truth.
