I think one of the reasons people object to Christianity is because of their own suffering in life. How can God allow these things to happen? Where is God when it hurts? They are mad at God. It’s a classic question: how can a good and all powerful God allow suffering to happen? Why did my father pass away? Either he is just good and does not have the power to stop them or he is powerful but he doesn’t care. He can’t be both good and powerful. That’s the argument. How do we respond to this?
