Despite imprisonment and warnings from the authorities Peter and John continued to preach the Gospel. Their boldness came from understanding that (1) God was in control, (2) that people needed healing and deliverance from tormenting Spirits, (3) that God must be obeyed over humans, (4) that people's eternal destinies were at stake, (5) that suffering was a privilege and lastly and most importantly that boldness came from the Holy Spirit.
